This little village on the edge of Marseille is built around a square called Place des Moulins (Windmills Square) because of the presence of several old windmills, and a hill on which stands the church of Notre-Dame du Chateau, where there is an exceptional collection of 19th century ex votos (offerings of thanks). A rocky peak looks down over the panorama of the Marseille area.
