Constituted in the Community of Communes since January 1, 2001, the territory of the Country of Azay-the-Curtain includes/understands 12 rural communes gathering 12 175 inhabitants on a surface of 230 kmē. Located in the department of the Indre-and-Loire, the community of communes of the Country of Azay Le Rideau is at about thirty kilometers in the south-west of Turns.
