By the Decree of Mr. Federal Interventor in São Paulo, nº 6,518, of 28 of June of 1934, was created the District of Peace of Ibirapuera, with following the verge: "They start in the river Jurubatuba in the estuary of the brook of the Treason, they go up this brook until its sources, and from there straight-line of its northern twig to the road of Conceição, dividing with the city of the Capital, and from there they follow for the related road, dividing with the Capital and Are Bernardo, until finding the springs of the brook Cupecê or Cordeiro, go down for êste, until finding the existing bridge in the neighborhoods of Benedict Camargo and Dr. Lane and dêste point, in line réta until finding the street Beautiful Sight, in the line of trams of the Light and for the street Beautiful Sight until the River Jurubatuba, straight-line dêste point the landmark dividing in the Road of the Circuit in the quarter of the from there straight-line Taboão and for dividing landmarks with the city of the Capital until the estuary of the brook of the Treason, where they had had comêço ".
Nominating peace notary Mr. Julio Simões, the first birth was registered in 23 of July; the first death, in 29 of the same month and the first marriage in 1º of September, everything in 1934.
The first nominated authorities had been the following citizens: Judge of Peace, Mr. Manoel Brave Pacheco and substitute Mr. Ettore Giollo; subdelegate, Mr. Otavio de Araujo Novaes; substitutes Mr. Jose Enrique Rehin and Mr. Augustin Jose Gonçalves. First Agent of the Post office: srta. Isabel Blacksmith Young chicken. The Pertaining to school Group that was established in 5 of March of 1932, in large cabin yielded for the Cia. Votorantin, had its corporate faculty of the following professors: Leonato de Freitas, director; teachers D. D. Alzira Release Marzagão, Flavia Da Silva Coast, Floriana S. Paulo Pacheco; Gone Varani; Idalina Guimarãoes; Blumenthal Luiza, Cardoso Maria of the Amaral; Conceição Maria Mosque, Maria of the Glory Pear tree Milk and Maria Vieira Luiza. Employees: Ruy de Alvarenga Toledo, doorman; Israel Hisses of Moraes, Ozoria Vaz de Almeida and Leontina Gonçalves Nunes, Maids.
The establishment kept five rooms and, functioning in 2 periods, it kept 358 pupils, being 174 of feminine sex and 184 of the masculine sex.
If it cannot affirm that the São Paulo Brooklin counts on 179 years of existence, even so had its first house [ photo ] construida in 1822, date of our Independence, therefore this house was headquarters of the farm of 174 alqueires, construida for Chico Mimi, that it is changed of the house that also construira, to the edges of the stream of the Treason, the existing unica before 1822, between Saint Amaro and São Paulo. As headquarters of the farm the "Great House", as they called it, thus conserved for more than a century, passing to the property of diverse owners. In this persuasion one believes that the São Paulo Brooklin started effectively when the 174 alqueires of the farm had been divided in small lots that had been vendidos in installments. The first buyers of the lots having constructed to its houses [ photo ] and when already if constituía a regular nucleus, also the existing ones of a small church, accomplished the birth of the quarter in the year where if they had initiated vendas of lands, 1922.
Three great terrenistas had been pledged enthusiasticly in vendas of diverse soils. The Dr. Alfonso de Oliveira Saints, the first loteador of the soil between the Av. Morumbi and the River Lamb, land division this that called Garden of the Acácias. The understood soil enters the Av. Morumbi of the right side going up in direction to the River Jurubatuba, was acquired by Julio Klaunig, whose division and venda had been made by Alvaro Rodrigues [ photo ]. Finally, in the same year of 1922, Ignácio Pear tree proceeded to the land division of the high part, enters the stream of the Espraiado and Cordeiro, since the avenue Adolph Pine until the Auto Washington Road Luiz.
However, in contrast of that much people think, the São Paulo Brooklin was born and grew self-sufficient. Proper and natural the quarter progressed inside of its verge, the above described ones. The influence of did not have aid nor being able them administrative. Separated, it can be said, per many years, enters the stream of the Espraiado and Cordeiro, the residential building, plants and other particular enterprises were succeeded forming the monumental quarter, which as we said in the beginning, were born to be a metropolis. As we said lines above, the first building that was headquarters of the farm was constructed by Chico Mimi, in 1822. Little time later êste vendeu it to one such Moraes, for 800$000. The children of the couple, in I number of eight, had been born in the "Great House" of the farm. They are they: Ana, Maria, Izabel, Catharina, Pablo, August, Adelaide, and Libório.
By death of João Klein its children Pablo and Libório had been contemplated in the inventory, fitting to them in the allotment of the left goods, the 174 soil of alqueires. Years after this event, the brothers Klein venderam all the cited area the Julio Klaunig which joining in society with the prestigious politico and brooklinense capitalist Alvaro Rodrigues, had proceeded to the land division from all the acquired soil.
