The village of Chalandra is located at the east part of Amani's road, 11km from Volissos. It is built inside an old fortress, some of whose remnants are still visible nowadays, climbed up to the steep and green mountainsides of Amani. The main church of the village is Aghia Paraskevi, celebrated on July 26th. Beneath Chalandra lays also the abandoned settlement of Kamini, with the church of Agios Modestos.
