The municipality of Deutschkreutz is located in the Blaufränkischland region and has 650 hectares of vineyards. Where good wine grows, one can settle down....that´s what is said in Deutschkreutz. Well-groomed vineyards ensure not only the availability of vintage wines but also the presence of wine taverns and restaurants, where local culinary delights can be tasted. More than 100km of marked cycling trails lead through the soft hills, shady forests and vineyards. Further leisure facilities are the solar heated adventure pool, 5 tennis courts, the crazy golf course and bowling alleys. If you´re interested in fine arts you´ll enjoy visiting the Carl Goldmark Museum. The interior of the church, the 14 stations of the cross, 6 painted antique glass windows , the painting "Madonna in den Weinbergen", and the large mosaik at the northern front were designed by Prof. Anton Lehmden. The Schloss Deutschkreutz castle, a stately and artfully furnished castle, was built in 1625. An art exhibition is on display by the owner Prof. Anton Lehmden. Tours can be booked.
