The small, dreamy village lies embedded between the Leithagbirge mountain range and the Neusiedlersee lake. It is guarded by the Baroque mountain church that towers above the village and was last refuge for the inhabitants in war times. The wine culture, the hospitality of the population, and the beauty of the landscape make up the special charm of our village. Donnerskirchen is ideal for active or relaxing days in a mild Pannonian climate. Hiking, cycling, swimming (new outdoor adventure pool in 2002), tennis, and golf (18-hole course) can be pursued. Or simply relax and dream amidst the beautiful nature of the cherry blossom region with a good glass of wine. Donnerskirchen is always worth a visit.
