Tourist Information about Jesus Maria

This land of mountains, fresh air and flourishing landscapes is 50 km away from Córdoba city , at 530 meters above sea level with a hot sub-humid to dry climate, with occasional real cold weather in Winter. Jesús María is a place that has very old roots and an important cultural richess. At first, it was an indian built-up area called "guanusacate" - dead water - that developed due to the presence of jesuits. Currently, it is the most important finantial and agricultural center in the north of the province. In the surroundings, there are important farms that balance the farm work with ecotourism or farm tourism. Well known as site of the "Festival nacional de Doma y Folclore" (Breaking in and Folklore National Festival) , Jesús María links the history and tradition of the gaucho stock with musical works of art that are internationally famous. The tourist can visit places with great archaeological and historical worth and go on outdoor activities around the attractive circuits that are nearby.
