Not really a tourist resort, Jijel is a first class place to relax at the beach a couple of days in the summer. As it should be in a beach resort, there is nothing whatsoever to see of ruins or famous buildings, but a nice atmosphere, and plenty of ordinary Algerians curious to make your friendship, without any profit in mind, will make a stay here a very good choice. And the nature around Jijel is splendid, inviting you to explore it.
