Kasane’s best feature is its location, and it this that makes this small town so popular. For years tourists have been using Kasane as a gateway to the Chobe National Park and it was from this town that David Livingstone made his greatest ‘find’, Lake Victoria. Kasane is also near the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, and its position in Northern Botswana places it near the borders of Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe, making it the perfect base for explorations into the Chobe National Park, and the surrounding three countries.
