Muisne is a small village set on an island with an extensive beach which is about 1 1/2 Km away from the village. There are several motorized canoes to cross Río Muisne to the island for about US$1.00. The region has a small shrimp and banana production and there are no banks. However, there is a place where you can change Travelers' checks close to the dock.
Calle Manabí and Isidro Ayora are the main streets in town. Parque Central is one block away from the Río Muisne. The Pacifictel office is on Ayora street close to Parque Central and the Post office is just around the corner.
