San Bernardo city is a seaside resort located in Buenos Aires Seaboard, 325 km away from Capital Federal in the Coast District. Twin City of Mar de Ajó since they are linked by the same Costanera Avenue, it has narrow beaches where thousands of families and , especially young people, come together to enjoy the sun of the argentinean Summer. The climate is nice and template with an annual average temperature of 22º C with maximum temperatures of 33º C in the hottest month. To get to this city, you can take Nº 36 National Route till Nº 11 Provincial Route going past Pipinas Town that will take you to destination. Another way of getting to it is taking Nº 2 Route until Dolores City and then Nº 63 Route till " Crotto's Corner" where you have to turn right on Nº 11 Provincial Route till San Bernardo. In the past years, there has been a contineous development that has placed it in a special rank in the Atlantic Coast. The city is made up of modern buildings and classical chalé surrounded by old trees that give evidence of the age of San Bernardo. “ Juan Carlos Chiozza Pedestrian Street ” is the place to go either before or after the beach day since there are many shops that cope with the taste of every tourist. Grown ups and kids enjoy beach volleyball, quoits championships, jet skiing, windsurfing or four wheel motorcycle rides on the beach. Don Bosco Square and the Square of the Family are excellent places to have a good time among pine trees and eucaliptus that are a good frame to these historical places. Another interesting site to visit is The Coast Observatory from where you can observe other planets, galaxies and constelations. Apart from that , you can either go on a fishing excursion or fish from the pier relaxing and catching fish like sea breams, palometas,corvinaes,soles or codfish. In the outskirts of San Bernardo , you can visit Punta Médanos- a site with imposing dunes that are ideal to enjoy horse riding , four trax or other vehicles rides. Night life is busy since there are pubs, discos, theatres and bingoes that offer you different options to cope with all ages.
